There is a purity and truth in the natural world that motivates me creatively. I do not strive to paint an exact copy of the subject, but to convey its essence through colour, texture and simplified form. I love to paint and I am always striving to find new ways to convey the beauty of life through my work. My method involves layering acrylic paint to compose structure and depth. The work is then further defined through the use of ink, conté or charcoal.
